Galaxy: central version is not stable

Now I’ve already installed galaxy (central development version) in the dscbc-compute server and make it serving bioinformatics analysis of our lab. It could handle several different analysis at the same time and make use of large size RAM and multiple cores in dscbc-compute. Another advantage is that it is GUI based.
But I also found some serious problem of our local galaxy: it is not stable. Especially in uploading large size dataset and perform analysis.
There are two ways to improve the performance of galaxy:
1. switch central version to dist version
2. use a http proxy such as apache
http://bitbucket.org/galaxy/galaxy-central/wiki/Config/ApacheProxy

I’ll try them soon.
